Facilitators

Julie Barron, MA

Julie is a pioneer of the Michigan psychedelic community and an activist for decriminalization throughout the whole US. For over 25 years Julie Barron has done extensive research and training in the health benefits and use of cannabis and entheogenic plants/fungi.

Having trained in therapy with non-ordinary states of consciousness in her Master’s program at Naropa University, Julie Barron now incorporates this training into her work at Blue Sage helping clients find healing and relief as they incorporate these alternative practices into wellness.

With the interest of psychedelics increasing, a large part of her work has become consulting and training other healthcare practitioners to incorporate psychedelic therapies into their practices.

Along with this work, Julie is also the Co-Founder of Decriminalize Nature Michigan and Founder/President of Michigan Psychedelic Society.
